In 1978, Faith Christian Family Church began as a small prayer group with three ladies meeting in a home setting. The group grew and began meeting in various homes in Eureka Springs.

In August 1979, Pastor Gary and Debbie Hayhurst came to lead the small congregation. He was handed the reins of the church along with $200 in the church checking account and an upright piano. They pastored the church over 30 years.

The church met in the American Legion Hut in downtown Eureka Springs. They also met at the Bank of Eureka Springs Community Room. Then the church later met at the Country Shindig Music Theatre. While meeting there, the FCFC congregation purchased property on Highway 23 and began construction of the building we currently occupy. The dedication of the facility was held in May 1985.

In January 2017 Pastors Chad and Christine Hill were handed the baton.

Today Pastors Chad and Christine encourage the FCFC family to continue to carry the baton as we run the race and show people a better way of life.
