Pastor Gary and Debbie Hayhurst

In 1974 God revealed His love for Gary Hayhurst through the preaching of the gospel, and that knowledge totally turned his life around. In 1975 he left his job as a salesman and announcer at the local radio station, a position he had held for 9 years, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he attended Rhema Bible Training Center.

Upon graduation from Rhema in 1976 he returned to the Northwest Arkansas area and worked for a time as a youth minister in an Assembly of God church. In 1979 he left that position and began ministering to a group of believers in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is presently in his 28th year of ministry in that position, and the church, now known as the Faith Christian Family Church, has grown to a group of approximately 350 believers.

The heart of Gary’s ministry has been to see believers established in the faith, so that they can go forth and do the work of the ministry. He has always had a special desire to see people set free by the “good news” that God so dearly loved and greatly prized the world that He sent His only begotten Son.
