Ice Cream Supper and Fund Raiser
The Family Church will host their annual Ice Cream Supper and Fund Raiser on Wednesday July 2nd at 6:30 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to catch up on some fellowship, eat so delicious ice cream and contribute to a worthy cause!! You may bring a freezer of ice cream or your favorite summer dessert. An offering will be received with proceeds going to a local food bank and to procure gas cards for needs families in our area. Guests are always welcomed.
Ladies' Fellowship
Red, white and blue will be the theme of the evening at the next Ladies Fellowship, as the ladies of the church celebrate the freedoms that all Americans enjoy!! Violet Fomby, Teresa Adams' mother, will be sharing a special testimony about how God was a very present help, during her battle with cancer. You will be blessed and encouraged by the faith of this special woman of God. Bring a delicious "all American" dish and join us on July 18th at 6:30 PM for this special evening.
Men's Fellowship Breakfast
The Men's Breakfast will be on Saturday July 19th. If you are able to help cook or set up, meet Pastor Gary at the church at 6:30 AM. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM. Following the meal and fellowship, a gentleman of the church will be sharing a special testimony. This will be a great opportunity to get better acquainted with other men in the church. FCFC Echo Meal
On Thursday, July 24, The Family Church will have the opportunity to minister to those participating in ECHO (Eureka Christian Heath Organization), the free medical clinic for those people who do not qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford. The Family Church will be providing the meal for those attending the clinic as well as the volunteers. If you would like to prepare a dessert for this meal, or if you would like to help serve, call Debbie Hayhurst at 253-7414.
Special Speaker
If your money runs out before your week ends, you will want to make plans to be at The Family Church on Sunday, July 27th! The Family Church will be hosting Concepts in Stewardship with David Mallonee. This ministry was established for the purpose of teaching relevant truths about biblical finance. Finances affect many areas of our lives and now, as never before, it is vital that we handle our finances in line with the Word of God. David Mallonee will expand on some of these concepts and share with us different ideas on how to be wise with what God has given us and ways to grown and increase. Come join us at The Family Church on July 27th!
Kingdom Builder's
There will be a Kingdom Builder's meeting on Sunday August 3rd at 5:00. All those working in the church are invited to attend this meeting. This is a time where individuals can renew and invigorate their vision to minister life to those attending The Family Church each week. This potluck dinner is for everyone working in the youth department, children's church, nursery and music department, as well as all of the greeters and ushers.

Operation Shoebox
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Well, the storage room downstairs it beginning to look a lot like Christmas anyway!!! Thanks so much to those of you who have generously provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, brushes, and soap to be placed in the shoeboxes that will be distributed by Living Water teaching in Central America this Christmas. During the months of May and June we will be collecting shampoo. Each child receiving a shoebox this year will also be offered the opportunity to receive the greatest gift of all -- Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. In addition to that, each shoebox from The Family Church will include a copy of the gospel of John in Spanish along with the gifts and personal care items. Please pray that these natural gifts will help open the hearts of the children and teenagers to receive God's love.
